Snorkeling At Mahmya Island From Hurghada

Get ready for an incredible day trip with Horizon Pyramids Team! We'll pick you up from your resort in Hurghada and whisk you away to the stunning Mahmya Beach, located on the southern shores of the Giftun Island National Park. The name 'Mahmya' translates to 'Protected Area' in Arabic, a testament to the island's commitment to preserving its natural beauty.

Our journey begins with a scenic one-hour sail to the island aboard one of our two Mahmya boats. To protect the island's delicate coral reef and marine life, we anchor at buoys off the bay and transport you to the shore on smaller boats.

Once you set foot on the island, a world of possibilities opens up. You can snorkel in the clear lagoon, teeming with impressive coral formations and a variety of marine life. If you prefer to stay dry, take a leisurely stroll along the sandy beach, challenge other guests to a game of beach volleyball, or simply relax and soak up the sun. For our younger guests, an Aqua Trampoline is available for some fun in the sun!

As the day comes to a close, we'll sail back to the marina, where our team will assist you and arrange for your transfer back to your hotel in Hurghada.
